Be a Leader first by serving others…..

Sitting down [to teach], He called the twelve [disciples] and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all [in importance] and a servant of all.” Mark 9:35

The best leaders are the ones who know how to follow first. The best leaders are the ones who know how to serve and not just look to be served. Christ came to serve. He didn’t come riding in a Limo with a great entourage surrounding Him keeping Him from touching or teaching the people; He didn’t come with someone carrying His weight, but He carried the weight of the world on His shoulders. My God! Jesus came to serve.

If we are seeking to be the greatest of all time in the house of God our focus is OFF! We are out of sync with who Jesus is. “…just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many [paying the price to set them free from the penalty of sin].” Matthew 20:28 AMP

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a [a]ransom for many.” Mark 10:45 AMP
