Resist...


Good morning I am RELEASING Life Speaker!

No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy]. 1 Corinthians 10:13 AMP

7 So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. James 4:7 AMP

Temptation will not overtake you. We are enticed by those things inside that we like or that four plays with our flesh. God will not allow you to be tempted beyond your ability to RESIST. HE PROVIDES A WAY OF ESCAPE. It is a choice! You are making a choice when temptation is in front of your face. The way of escape the Father provides but you go to take it.

When you SUBMIT to God, RESIST the devil, temptation, your flesh, standing firm against every evil thing, then that demon will FLEE. I’ve said this before, you cannot ASSIST and RESIST at the same time. You must do one or the other. You have a choice to make today. Christ is compassionate but don’t take His compassion lightly or for granted. For when we know right and do wrong anyhow that’s a sin! Don’t be fooled. Choose the way of escape.

Speak Life is an amazing book. This book has changed my life in so mnay ways.  The prompts are so powerful and will have you looking at your space and the company you keep through different lenses. I feel like a ten lb weight has been lifted off of me after reading this, following the prompts, and being more sensitive to the spirit.  Latoya is amazing, she was there throughout the entire process with encouragement and a beautiful message from God.
