Where Legends are Made!

As I was riding to work this morning I begin to think again about Jalen Hurts from the Alabama Football team and I got lost in praise for the God in him.

Now don’t get lost in the message because you don’t like Bama. It’s okay. To think that last year the world was watching him being sat down and Tua taking his position as quarterback to ultimately win the game. This year Tua gets hurt and Jalen has his moment to come and ultimate redemption. Coach Saban tells him, “It’s your time!”

Now this part… think about him going all year with people telling him he should leave, he should go somewhere else; what he must have felt like on the inside with being now the 2nd quarterback and then the 3rd after surgery; some thinking he was crazy for staying; his own battles he must have been fighting on the inside, but this man remained humble, faithful, a team player; most of all He prayed and turned it over to God. My God and he stayed… and it was HIS TIME to shine! We don’t know what all he faced from day to day, at home, on the field, on social media, in the public, in private, but he did not give up. He did not quit… He hung in there and became BETTER at what he was WEAK AT and ultimately turned the game in their favor when it was his TIME to RISE ABOVE and SHINE! No he didn’t win the game on his own, it took the team, but he remained a team player through it all. So what I want to say to you this morning is….

Things may not look like they are going in your favor, it may look like you are losing to the world… it may look like your business is not growing or going anywhere right now, it may look like nothing is happening; the weight may look like it’s never going to come all the way off no matter how much work you put in… and tell you today to Preserver, Don’t Quit, Be Resilient, be Faithful, be Humble and stay in the game! It’s not over… God makes LEGENDS. Where legends are made are on the battle field with God on your team. Don’t quit! You got this! Rise above every lie you have been told and LIVE! Live your Best Life right now! Not tomorrow, but now!
