Better Not Bitter
Good morning I am Better not Bitter Life Speaker!
Bitter – unpleasant, nasty, vicious, harsh, cynical, angry, resentful
Better – healthier, recovering, enhanced, well, advance, improve, progress, changed
This morning as you prepare yourself for today, think about how you have been engaging with those around you. Have you become bitter or better? Bitter people are hurt people that in return will hurt others. There is a way of escape and that is to change your perspective and thinking now. The longer you choose to linger in what has caused you to become bitter, the deeper it becomes a garment of you. What kind of garment do you have on today?
If you have put on the garment of bitterness… REPENT NOW! Forgive yourself, accept God’s forgiveness and forgive others. Start to think positive about others. Appreciate others even when you may not feel like it. HUSH YOUR MOUTH. Sometimes we just need to close our lips and stop talking about folks. Choose to celebrate their victories and testimonies with them. Don’t consistently reflect back on how they hurt you. You learn the lesson, focus on improving yourself and earnestly PRAY for others.
I encourage you today, to let it go. What’s your expression or reaction when you taste something bitter? Think about when you are bitter, the expression of the Father is He still loves you and He would prefer a sweet taste, not bitter. So become better today!
Look at the two words BETTER - BITTER.... The "I" replaces the "E" to make bitter... I is the one who suffers most when bitterness takes root!
