Obedience better than sacrifice

Obedience is better than a sacrifice….

But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to His voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams…… so because you have rejected the command of the Lord, he has rejected you as king.” 1 Samuel 15:22-23 NLT

Obedience is better than a sacrifice. When God speaks and gives instructions, your obedience to His voice means more to Him than a sacrifice. Plan and simple. Submission to His will and His way is better to Him than a sacrifice. When you reject God’s instructions it’s DISOBEDIENCE. When you only do a part of what He says it is still DISOBEDIENCE. There is no half obedience, either you or obedient or disobedient there is not in between or grey area to being obedient to His voice.

Listen! Obedience is better than a sacrifice.

So what has God instructed you to do or say this morning? It’s time to OBEY!
