Disobedience Leads to Sin and Death

Think back to Adam and Eve. The disobedience of Adam brought sin and death into the world. But God had a remedy for their sin; Christ. Christ perfect obedience restores fellowship with God, for everyone who believes in Him.

For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19 NKJV

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22 NKJV

Look at Lot’s wife – disobedience lead to her being a pillar of salt. “Don’t look back!”

This morning I just want to encourage you to trust God and obey. Many are turning their backs today and losing hope, but we must stay the course. Disobedience may cost someone their life. Let’s seek first the kingdom of God and all of His righteousness that all these things shall be added onto us.

God’s promises are yes and amen. Obey! If this, then that. Those are promises throughout His word

Don’t allow your stubbornness, laziness, hard-headed self, cause you to miss God in this season. This is the season of obedience. Obey!
