Motivation for Obedience is Love
Good morning I am walking in purpose life speaker!
Obedience Definition in the Bible. The general concept of obedience both in the Old and New Testament relates to hearing or hearkening to a higher authority.
Our motivation for obedience is LOVE! For God so LOVE the world that HE GAVE His ONLY begotten Son that WHOSOEVER believes in Him shall NOT perish but have EVERLASTING LIFE. John 3:16
God first loved us. God is love, Love is God. They are interchangeable and because of His love, obedience should be our response to His voice, to His will, to His way.
If you love Me, you will keep my commandments – John 14:15
Do you love Him? Do you love who and what God loves? You can’t treat what God loves any kind of way and then say you love Him. It doesn’t work that way. How can you not love someone you can see, but Love Him who you cannot see? (1 John 4:20) Your OBEDIENCE speaks volumes to God. Be motivated by God’s love this morning to walk in total obedience. Amen!
Let GOD (LOVE) ARISE and his enemies be scattered!
