Good morning Imitator of Christ!

Follow me as I follow Christ…..

Can you say this statement to someone? “Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.” Philippians 3:17 NKJV

Can someone look at the way you live your life and they see the Father? We know that no one is perfect, neither was Paul, but at the time, Paul couldn’t say read the bible and follow it. So that means His character and the way he carried himself must have been a representation of Christ that others should take heed to and follow.

Take a moment to think about a new believer? What if they had to follow your example day in and out? What kind of follower would they represent if they had to imitate you? Wow! That’s deep. But we must live our day to day lives knowing that some people may not read the word right away, so they are looking at you and me. Will we fall and mess up, sure we will, but how do you comeback; are you resilient or do you give up and waddle in it?

Most of all we should follow Christ example. Your focus should be on imitating Christ. Take a moment to reflect on the previous questions and see where you need growth. Amen!
