9 and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 11 if, by any means, I may attain[a] to the resurrection from the dead. Philippians 3:9-11 NKJV

We cannot know the victory of the Resurrection without personally applying the crucifixion. What does that mean? We must DIE to self. We must crucify our flesh daily in order to live righteously in Him. In order to live a new life there are going to have to be some dead things we have to let go. In order to walk in newness, we have to crucify, kill the old sinful nature.

There is power and knowledge that we have access to as believers but in order to obtain it, sacrifices will have to be made. You cannot work for your salvation, so why are you so busy? There is work to be done for the kingdom but we must be obedient to the work that He has called us to individually and corporately. Your relationship with Christ has to succeed everything else.

Are you ready to live resurrected? Then it’s time to crucify what has been holding you hostage, in bondage, stagnant and in sin. We are resurrected because He is the Resurrection, Truth and Life. Amen!
