Therefore Do This....

Therefore do this….

“Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:12-13 NKJV

Therefore relates to the previous verses/sections. As you are building in love, living in unity, obeying, serving with joy, living for Christ don’t just do it in the presence of other believers, but do it ALWAYS. You cannot resemble Christ in the church building amongst other believers and then get outside the four walls and raise hell everywhere your feet tread. The devil is a liar. You should be drawing nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you. You should not be looking like the world. Your light ought to be shining so bright that man cannot even see you, but see Christ.

I wrote about vs 12 in my last book “Who Told You, You Were Naked?” People, I mean saved, Holy Ghost filled people will use verse 12 when they know they are living a lifestyle outside of what they teach/preach so that you cannot judge the fruit they are bearing. Not only is their baby ugly but they are living contrary to what they are delivering to others but instead of wanting to face it and get deliverance, because they are enjoying it, they toss this scripture at you, so you will leave them alone. Sit down and get delivered!

So I encourage you today to allow God to work through you, help you, change you and your desires so that you can be a game changer, nation impactor, greater in His kingdom; God will get all the glory!
