“Therefore if there is any [a]consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” Philippians 2:1-4 NKJV

When we work TOGETHER, caring for the problems of others as if they were our problems, we demonstrate Christ’s example of putting others first, and we encounter unity. When you take time to build relationships regardless of your location or place of worship, the relationship remains. It’s built on more than a building. As you build unity at your job, at home, at church, in the community remember that the enemy cannot stand unity therefore he will do everything in his power to cause discord, division, and dysfunction because his goal is to kills, steal and destroy. We must recognize when he is operating and kill it at the root.

We all mess up, no person is perfect… so we will hurt each other from time to time, but know how to pick things back up and keep pressing forward in Christ. Love is unconditional. It doesn’t mean that I will continue to allow you to tear me down and walk over me, but I will choose to love you regardless and set my boundaries.

Oneness causes you to come out of your selfish ambitions and become like-minded with those around you that are going to another level. Let’s take time today to build relationships the way God intended us to. Amen!
