We Wrestle Not Against....

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

If you think that things that are not of flesh and blood are fairytales or made up then think again. They are very much real as you and I. They are against Christ and everything He stands for. Christs live on the inside of you then you are his enemy and they are our enemies. What we fight against focus is to get us off track, unfocused, derailed, distracted from who we are, to go back to who we used to be. The ultimate goal is for us to live defeated lives, which therefore gives him access to kill, steal and destroy.

Some think the wrestle is against what we see on the outside of a person. Sorry we fight against each other but the true enemy is what lies within the spirit of a person that has become a hosts to the enemy to be used by him. Not only what lies in a person, but also the rulers of darkness of this age that desires to take residence in, through and with you.

Be careful of what and who you entertain. You can entertain angels unaware, but there is also an enemy who sits by waiting… watching and waiting. We must remain on guard and remember who we are in Christ.
