Give No Place, Part II

Yesterday we looked at Ephesians 4:26-27 in regards to not letting the sun go down on our anger, and we may be angry but do not sin. We can be our biggest hindrance to being free from anger. How? We begin to NURSE that anger. We think about the situation, the person, what occurred etc… over and over and over again. Replaying the incident in our minds, then speaking about it over and over again until just being angry rises up and turns into wrath.

We have to check ourselves from time to time. Am I allowing the enemy too much access in this situation? You know it doesn’t take but a crack for him to come right on in and cause havoc, division and discord. What have you give access to today because of unresolved anger? We must give NO PLACE to the enemy; no room to the enemy.

Are you angry with someone right now? What can you do now to begin to resolve your issues? Are you angry about a situation that has happened? What can you do to look at the situation from a different perspective, repent and move forward? It takes you may the effort to desire to not want to be angry in order for you to be free from it. What will you do different today to ensure the anger doesn’t rise again about the same thing? That’s when you know you have grown and matured a little bit more. It’s a process and the end result is living in peace that passeth all human understanding. Amen!
