Give NO Place…..

“Be angry, and DO NOT SIN, DO NOT let the sun go down on your wrath, NOR give place to the devil.” Ephesians 4:26-27 NKJV

BE ANGRY [at sin—at immorality, at injustice, at ungodly behavior], YET DO NOT SIN; do not let your anger [cause you shame, nor allow it to] last until the sun goes down. 27 And do not give the devil an opportunity [to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness]. Ephesians 4:26-27 AMP

In our day to day lives there is plenty of different things, people, places, injustice, immorality, ungodly behavior that we can get very angry about but we have been given instructions, that although you are FEELING ANGER Do not SIN! Do not allow the night to come and you lay your head down and still be angry. No man knows the time or the hour that he will breathe his last breathe, so repent, forgive, change your mindset.

When you are angry and you allow that emotion to drive your character and actions you then open up a door, a crack, a window for the enemy to creep in. He doesn’t need much room, JUST ACCESS! Resist the enemy and he will flee. WE cannot ASSIST and RESIST at the same time. No more giving free access to that joker. Repent, Forgive and Love!

The next time you get angry… step back for a moment and think “Will I allow this emotion to lead my behavior today or will I choose to be free?”
