Are You Walking Worthy?
Good morning I am Walking in Longevity Life Speaker!
Are we walking worthy?
“I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to WALK WORTHY of the CALLING with which YOU were CALLED, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love….” Ephesians 4:1-2 NKJV
As we continue in Ephesians, this scripture right here will make you step back and think for a moment. Am I walking worthy (commendable, praiseworthy, admirable, well-intentioned (good-hearted), valuable (useful, effective, significant)? We have to take time out from time to time to see where we are when it comes to our walk. We began to get slothful, lazy, lethargic, unintentional and more when it becomes just about checking off blocks and routine.
God has called us to GREATER. When you are walking worthy of the call which is in you, you operate and function out of love. Correct out of love. Direct out of love. Serve out of love. Draw out of love. Everything that you do and say should represent the love of Christ. Does that mean that love is sugar-coated and water down to please the flesh. CERTAINLY not! Love is not weak or some cute puppy love. LOVE is God and God is Love, therefore as you begin to truly understand the Father’s love, there is a level of maturity that comes along with His love.
You learn how to bear one another in love. You learn how to be gentle, loving, kind, longsuffering, patient, not rude, etc…… but it takes us taking time out and reassessing our relationship with the Father and our love walk with others.
I encourage you today to look at you and see where God can mature you in your love walk. Amen!
