Flesh Living = God’s Wrath

And you [He made alive when you] were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you once walked. You were following the ways of this world [influenced by this present age], in accordance with the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit who is now at work in the disobedient [the unbelieving, who fight against the purposes of God]. 3 Among these [unbelievers] we all once lived in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by the sinful self], indulging the desires of [a]human nature [without the Holy Spirit] and [the impulses] of the [sinful] mind. We were, by nature, children [under the sentence] of [God’s] wrath, just like the rest [of mankind]. Ephesians 2:1-3 AMP

When we were living in a lifestyle of sin, we were DEAD. It doesn’t matter that you are a good person, moral, kind and law-abiding, if you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior then you will not enter into eternal life with Him. Nobody is good enough to earn their salvation, that’s why Christ had to come.

Check your lifestyle. Are you fulfilling the flesh or purpose? Is your flesh more pleased than your spirit? Are you disobedient to what God says in His Word? Are you fighting against who God has ordained and predestined you to be? There is no middle ground when it comes to God. Lukewarm will not do. You may as well be cold.

Today I encourage you to check your lifestyle and see where you have allowed self to dominate rather than God. If you do not have a relationship with Him, today I urge you to Seek Him FIRST!

Flesh living = God’s Wrath – it shall come to pass.
