On the road to your Destination

On the road to your destination…. As I was headed to work this morning I was not expecting that I would encounter so much. We are headed to a predestined destination, but we do not always know everything that’s on the road, side the road, in front of us on the way to that destination. First I encountered traffic beginning to get heavy, then a major part of the highway didn’t just have one lane blocked but the ROAD WAS CLOSED then the highway I had to DETOUR to, the LEFT SHOULDER was CLOSED. REALLY? I knew I had to get to my destination, but now I had to REROUTE in order to get there.

I was comfortably traveling at one point, but then a ROAD BLOCK, accidents, traffic, construction, ambulance, fire trucks were on the rerouted route. This did not stop me from getting to my destination, I kept driving, and whatever direction I had to go to get there, I went. On your road to your destination, don’t get so caught up in distractions the enemy may place in your way, distractions you may cause for yourself, road blocks, No’s, WAITS or the process that you just give up and miss your destination.

Today I encourage you to look at the process with a new prospective. If some of us didn’t have to wait for some things, we would never seek God. If some us never had to tarry for our healing, desires, etc., we wouldn’t even pray. If some of us never came in contact with road blocks, no’s or not yet we would get comfortable on one road and miss the other highways that will lead us to our various destinations and assignments.

If it’s blocked, trust God. If there is a detour, trust God. If you have to wait, trust God. If it’s no, trust that God has something greater!
