Sincere Love

Love is to be sincere and active [the real thing—without guile and hypocrisy]. Hate what is evil [detest all ungodliness, do not tolerate wickedness]; hold on tightly to what is good. Romans 12:9 AMP

LET LOVE be without hypocrisy, Abhor what is evil, Cling to what is good. Romans 12:9 NKJV

Let means to ALLOW. Allow love… there is always action when it comes to LOVE. God is love, Love is God. Allow God…..Abhor – Regard with disgust and hatred, hate what is evil and Cling – hold tightly to what is good. Love is Good… God is Good.

I don’t know about you this morning but it’s time out for that fake love. I love you when it’s favorable to me. I love you when others are watching. It’s call pretend, and the last time I checked pretending is not reality but make believe like children like to do. If we have put away childish things and have grown into maturity it’s time to stop pretending and love for real. Sincere love demands time, money, personal involvement, an ear, a heart, honesty, meeting the need of people that need love. It may just be a sincere hug and a listening ear that is needed. Does your love re-present that?

I encourage you today not be a hypocrite or abhor evil. Stick to what is good and love covers a multitude of sin. Love conquers all. Love never fails. Let’s get back to what really matters and that’s love!
