Outside or Inside?

As I was coming to work this morning, I got to thinking about something me and the hubby were talking about regarding house buying. What’s more important the outside of the house or the inside of it? Well, my answer to that question was I have to live in the house, so I want the inside to be what I desire, want, love to walk into every day and enjoy. The outside curb appearance is great, but if the inside tore up, dated, undesirable….

Not only is the outside not the most important, but the FOUNDATION of the house is vital. Is the house built on temporal things, shaky things or sand? When the winds blow, the floods come and the rain descends will the house stand? Matthew 7:24-27 (read)

What’s inside you is important. Who are you when nobody is looking? Who are you when the world is watching? How do you Re-present God through your lifestyle? You can make up, weave up, dress up the outside appearance, but if that inside is jacked up, eventually it will show. What’s in you matters? Who you are matters? When it’s nobody but you and God He will not be judging how you looked with the mask on, how you looked dressed up every Sunday morning. THE INSIDE of man matters.

You may have curb (man) appeal, but do you have Christ appeal?
