Marriage is God’s idea….

24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:24 NKJV... 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:24 KJV

You think the enemy wants your marriage to work, to prosper, to last until death departs you? NO! If he can divide and conquer he will. So we must totally understand that marriage is truly God’s idea. God must be the head of our marriages. There must be commitment, romance, faithfulness, and we should have the mindset that marriage is permanent; forever.

A man shall LEAVE and CLEAVE. Look how the words are intertwined. EXIT, GO, DEPART, DISATTACH so that you can be JOINED, TIED, ATTACHED, CONNECTED, MERGED to your wife. Then you will be ONE FLESH. My God! You are no longer two, but one. Selfishness dies. You are no longer two, but one. You are no longer two, but one.

When you are one watch how you are treating you? Treating her or him bad, disrespectful, demeaning, rude, unloving, belittling, humiliating, etc… you are treating you that way as well. Today we have to look at ourselves in our marriages and become REAL with where we are and ask for God’s help. Marriage is God’s idea or else he would have never ordained it. Follow His plans.
