LOVE is God, GOD is LOVE

LOVE is a four letter word that is used so loosely these days. If we truly do not know God or understand that He loves us, how do we know love; when LOVE is GOD? The two are interchangeable.

We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. 1 John 4:16 AMP

There are four types of love: Eros (relating to marriage love), Philia (Friendship, brotherly love), Storge (love/affection a parent for child) and the GREATEST of all AGAPE – selfless, unconditional, God’s divine love which is CONTINUAL (ongoing forever)!

When you look at all 4 knowing that GOD is love, then when you love, GOD has to be in that joining, connection, bond between each individual. God is the head of your marriage. God is the head of all your relationships. We cannot lose the validity of the word because it just sounds good to say. LOVE comes with POWER and AUTHORITY because GOD IS LOVE! God’s love is PERFECT!

We are IMPERFECT people LOVED by a PERFECT GOD! Be blessed!
