Confess and be Restored…

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. 13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You. Psalm 51:12-13

Have you ever felt stagnant in your faith? Have you ever felt like your walk was becoming dry and like nothing was happening? We have to examine ourselves and see if sin exist. Sometimes we do not even have to examine ourselves because we already know what we are doing and living. God seems distant because we have not confronted and confessed our sins to him. How can your relationship with Him become closer when you are living sin day in and day out with no remorse for your actions? You don’t truly have a sorrowful heart because you are plotting your next move.

God will give back the joy of your salvation when you confess your sins to Him. We all fall. You may fall but don’t stay there. For a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again… Proverbs 24:16

Man and woman of God you WILL be a testimony and light to this dying world because you have something to say. You know that you serve a forgiving God who loves you past your past, past your sins, past your failures, past your old nature. You will be the one to tell the world about Jesus and how He restored back to you the joy of His salvation. Sinners will be converted because of who dwells in you and what you have to say. So don’t think that anything will be wasted, God can use it all.

Confess your sins and be restored. I encourage you to read all of Psalm 51. It will bless your soul.
