One Accord in PRAYER

14 All these with one mind and one purpose were continually devoting themselves to prayer, [waiting together] along with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. Acts 1:14 AMP

14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication,[a] with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. Acts 1:14 NKJV

The Upper Room encounter, gathering, experience must have been one like no other. The disciples, other women, Jesus mother Mary and his brothers (who previously didn’t really believe that he was the Messiah) all in one place, on one accord and praying. My God. I know they shook the atmosphere!

We must put ourselves aside. It cannot always be about us and what we want. We have a nation that is dying and going to hell. Does your heart bleed; does your heart cry out for lost souls? Our Kingdom purpose is to make disciples, to love, to spread the Good News. Are we Kingdom focused or Worlddom focused?

You may not always know every scripture to quote, or the bible from Genesis to Revelation, who does? What you do have is your story, your testimony. What you do have is how Christ changed your life. What you do have is Christ story and how He was born through a virgin, walked this earth in flesh in blood, healed and preformed miracles, how he took on death so that we could live and our sins be forgiven. His life, death and resurrection! He is coming back.

We can change nations when we are on one accord. Amen!
