They must be drunk!

“They are full of new wine” Acts 2:13. The people had never seen anything like this before so surely they couldn’t have drunk any old wine, it’s got to be some new stuff that gave them power like that to speak in all those different tongues and with fire too. What kind of wine is it? The natural mind was so focused on the wrong thing that they missed God.

14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:14

An unbelieving man doesn’t understand but that does not mean that you stop. Keep moving in all that the Spirit has instructed you to do even if it LOOKS or SOUNDS crazy to man. We must walk in wisdom and be wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15) “And do not be DRUNK with wine, in which is dissipation (overindulgence); but be filled with the Spirit…” (Ephesians 5:18)

Man may think you or drunk or losing your mind because they do not understand the mysteries of God or what He is doing, but you keep right on moving in Him.

Please do not get so caught up in the “drunk” part that you lose the message. Did I say there was something wrong with a drink? No. This is how “I” see it: Therefore, if [my eating a certain] food causes my brother to stumble (sin), I will not eat [such] meat ever again, so that I will not cause my brother to stumble. 1 Corinthians 8:13 and “Abstain from every form of evil [withdraw and keep away from it].” 1 Thessalonians 5:22 (abstaining from any appearance of) So basically you having a drink is not going to cause me to fall, but getting drunk may cause someone you are trying to reach to.
